Enterprise architecture tool onboarding is the work of getting a new tool loaded with your real landscape and your team able to keep it current. The Team annual plan with onboarding gives you the Team plan at $290/editor/year plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding engagement. In it we build your first real model of your landscape with you, import your existing data, and train your team to keep the model up to date on its own.

Who it is for

The Team plan is for scale-ups and services companies of 50 to 500 people. This offer suits you if:

  • you have decided to use Entelim and want the model loaded and working, not left for someone to find time for;
  • your landscape lives in spreadsheets, an Archi file or exports from another tool, and nobody has had the hours to bring it together;
  • you want your own people to run the model afterwards, and not depend on us.

What you get

The Team plan, committed annually. Entelim's Team plan is priced per editor, and people who only ask questions are free. An editor is a member of your workspace who is not set to read-only. Team adds single sign-on, the architecture review board workflow, and your own model key for the AI features. Every plan includes every question Entelim answers, the twin map, the Business Model Canvas and file import.

Onboarding, as working sessions. Onboarding is working sessions with your people, not a generic webinar. It has three parts:

  • Your first real model. We build your organisation's first model of its landscape together with you: the applications, the capabilities they support, the technology under them and the dependencies between them, so that a question like what breaks if a system fails has an answer from day one.
  • Import of your existing data. We bring in what you already have: spreadsheets (CSV and Excel), Archi files and ArchiMate Open Exchange files, and exports from your current tools. Imports keep a history, so you can see what came in and when.
  • Training to keep it current. We teach your team to add and change applications, set owners and lifecycle stages, record costs, and read the answers, so that the model stays true after we leave.

How it works

  2. Scoping call. We agree which data to import, who will edit the model, how many editors you need, the sessions and a start date.
  3. Set-up. Your workspace is set up on the Team plan and your editors are added.
  4. Import. We load your existing data and check what came in against your own records.
  5. Working sessions. We build the first model with your team and train them as we go.
  6. Handover. Your team runs the model. You keep the workspace, the model and the plan.

What we need from you

  • Your editors. The people who will keep the model current. They count towards the price. People who only ask questions do not.
  • Your existing data. Spreadsheets, Archi files, Open Exchange files or exports. A list of applications is enough to begin.
  • Time from your team for the working sessions, and one person who can make decisions about what the model should cover.

Price and terms

  • $290/editor/year, billed annually. This is the Team plan at the annual rate, which is the $29/editor/month rate for ten months instead of twelve.
  • $1,500, one time, for onboarding.

For example, a team with ten editors pays $2,900 for the year plus $1,500 for onboarding. People who only ask questions are free and do not change the figure.

Both prices are in US dollars and match the pricing page. We confirm invoicing and payment terms when we agree the start date. The onboarding is one time and does not recur.

How this differs from the architecture health check

The architecture health check is a $4,500 assessment: we run Entelim over your data and give you a written report. The Team annual plan with onboarding is for teams who want to run Entelim themselves: you get the plan, a model built with you and the training to keep it up to date.

How much does the Team annual plan with onboarding cost?

It costs $290 per editor per year plus a one-time $1,500 for onboarding. Five editors pay $2,950 in the first year and ten pay $4,400. An editor is a workspace member who is not set to read-only, and people who only ask questions are free. To try Team first, the monthly rate is $29 per editor, and the free Community plan has no time limit.

Can we add editors during the year?

Yes. Add them whenever you need to. If you add seats part-way through a period, you pay the pro-rata difference for the rest of that period, and the new editors join the workspace you already have. Removing editors takes effect at the next renewal, and the current period is not refunded.

What happens at renewal?

The plan renews for another annual period unless an organisation administrator cancels before then, from the billing page or by contacting us. The $1,500 onboarding is one time and does not recur. The editor count you renew with is the one you have then, so remove editors you no longer need before the renewal date.

Is onboarding repeated if we add people later?

No. Onboarding is charged once, and editors who join later are not charged for it again. The working sessions teach your team to add and change applications, set owners and read the answers, so new colleagues learn the model from the people who built it with us. If you want another round of sessions for a new group, contact us.

What if we need to pause or cancel, and what happens to our data?

You can cancel at any time, and cancelling stops the plan renewing. You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can export your data for 30 days after it ends, including the model as an ArchiMate Open Exchange file. After that period, we delete your data. Backups expire on their normal cycle within 90 days. Dates for the working sessions are agreed on the scoping call, so say then if a busy period is coming.

How does this differ from the architecture health check?

The architecture health check is a $4,500 assessment: we run Entelim over your data and you receive a written report. This offer is for teams who want to run Entelim themselves: the Team plan, a model built with you, and the training to keep it current. The health check is the lower-commitment way to see your landscape first.

Do unused seats roll over?

No, and you do not need spare seats. You pay per editor, not for a block of seats, and added editors are charged pro-rata for the rest of the period. Read-only members are free, so only the people who change the model count. If you remove editors, the change takes effect at the next renewal.

Is multi-year pricing available?

The published rate is $290 per editor per year, billed annually, with $1,500 for onboarding, and those are the prices on the pricing page. For a commitment longer than a year, or for more than the Team plan covers, contact us and we will talk it through. Enterprise starts at $24,000 a year.
